ASOIAF – Stark & Lannister

Hello Community!

Today I have a story about the relationship of House Stark and House Lannister – two of the greatest Families in the whole Westeros!

The relationship between House Stark and House Lannister in the world of “Game of Thrones” is a tale of rivalry, betrayal, and the quest for power.

In the beginning, the two houses coexisted in a fragile peace, with the Starks residing in the North and the Lannisters holding sway in the Westerlands. However, when the Hand of the King, Jon Arryn, is murdered and King Robert Baratheon travels to Winterfell to ask Eddard Stark to take his place, the tensions between the two houses begin to boil over.

As Eddard delves deeper into the mystery of Jon Arryn’s death, he uncovers a web of deceit woven by the Lannisters, including their involvement in the murder. This leads to a power struggle for control of the Seven Kingdoms, with House Stark and House Lannister locked in a brutal conflict.

The two families are vastly different, with the Starks being known for their sense of justice and honor, while the Lannisters are infamous for their wealth and military might. This disparity only adds fuel to the fire, and the two houses clash in battles that leave both sides reeling.

Despite their differences, the relationship between House Stark and House Lannister is not without moments of unexpected alliances and attempts at peace. But as the quest for the Iron Throne rages on, it becomes clear that the only true victor will be the one who holds the power of the Seven Kingdoms in their grasp.

In conclusion, the relationship between House Stark and House Lannister is one of the defining elements of “Game of Thrones”, shaping the political landscape of the Seven Kingdoms and leading to an epic struggle for control of the Iron Throne.

Both of these houses are available as a playable faction in A Song of Ice and Fire – wargame published by Cool Minis or Not (CMON). On which side will you stand?
