Warhammer 40.000 - New Wave of Battleforces Arrived!
As always this time of the year, Games Workshop announced new Battleforces packs for Warhammer 40k. For those of you who did not know what they are, these are special repacks of miniatures from certain factions. Big plus of them is that they have a great value out of the box, which we will spot under each box (note that cost of the battleforce boxes are just an estimation and may be higher or lower)! Prices of miniatures are from their official store. Without further ado, we will go straight to the boxes themselves!
Space Marines - Spearhead Force
This year Adeptus Astartes box is filled with speedy units. Captain with the Jump Pack is supported by Intercessors (also with Jump Packs ofc), 1 Invader ATV and 3 Outriders. All of that is worth 330 USD in a ~170 USD box, how sweet!
Tyranids - Onslaught Swarm
Tyranids box is filled with 20 Hormagaunts, 10 Genestealer and 2 Ripper Swarms. This whole swarm is commanded by the towering Norn Emissary and Winged Hive Tyrant. Flood your opponent with tons of relentless miniatures! This box value is also 330 USD in a ~170 USD box!
World Eaters - Exalted of the Red Angel
One of the newest army in 40k got their battleforce too. Their Primarch, Angron, towers over 10 Khorne Berserkers and 6 Exalted eightbound, commanding them to spill the Blood for the Blood God! Box value is 355 USD in a ~170 USD box.
Leagues of Votann - Defenders of the Ancestors
Big winners of the new Battleforces are Votanns. A box contains not only 2 HQ units – Einhyr Champion and Grimnyr but also 10 Hearthguards and 2 vehicles – 1 Sagituar and 1 Hekaton Land Fortress. This box value is the greatest amongst all and is 385 USD in a ~170 USD box.
Orks - Beast Snagga Stampede
Orks’ new Battleforce is built around Squigs. Mozrog Skragbad, Squighog Boyz and Nob on Smasha Squig are all using these precious beings! They are supported by Painboss Medic, Beast Snagga Boyz and Kill Rig! The value is 365 USD in a ~170 USD box.
Astra Militarum - Cadian Defence Force
Last on our list, Fierce Cadia Defenders, Astra Militarum themselves. 2 huge Rogal Dorn Tanks are a fire support to 20 Shock Troops. Led by Command Squad, they can win nearly every battle! Last box on our list has a value of 345 USD in a ~170 USD box.
