Here Comes the WAAAGH!: Celebrating Orktober with Our Favorite Builds
It’s that time of year again.
The air gets a little crisper, the nights get a little longer, and a mighty WAAAGH! echoes across the galaxy!
It’s Orktober, the month-long celebration of everything green, mean, and wonderfully chaotic. We absolutely love working on Ork projects, as they offer a unique freedom for creativity, conversion, and crazy color schemes.
To celebrate, we’re diving into our archives to showcase some of our favorite Ork projects we’ve had the pleasure of building and painting for our clients.

Our Orktober Scrapbook: A Showcase of Mayhem
Each of these projects started with a client’s brilliant and ambitious idea. Our job was to bring that glorious vision of destruction to the tabletop.
Kicking Off Orktober: The God Busta Mega Stompa
There are big models, and then there is this monster.
A client commissioned us to build and paint this massive Stompa from Kromlech, and it was an absolute joy. This model is the embodiment of the Orky desire for bigger guns and more dakka, a true centerpiece that dominates any battlefield it stands on.
You can read more about this project here.

The Prophet of the WAAAGH!: Ghazghkull Thraka
Painting an iconic character is always a special responsibility. For this project, we painted the mighty Ghazghkull himself to our Level 3 Display standard. The goal was to give the supreme leader of the Orks a paint job worthy of his legendary status, capturing every detail on this incredible model.

A Rainbow of Dakka: 3D Printed Orks
This client’s vision was a perfect example of Orky philosophy: if it works, it’s a good idea. They wanted a vibrant, colorful army of 3D printed Orks, a perfect project for the creative spirit of Orktober. We worked with a whole spectrum of colors, because as every Warboss knows, “red wunz go fasta” and “blue iz lucky.”
We’ve made a interview with our painted Orks here.

Looted & Proud: Converted Tankbustas
Ork players are some of the most creative converters in the hobby, and this project was a fantastic collaboration. A client asked us to take a Kill Team kit and transform it into a unique squad of Tankbustas. This was a fun kitbashing challenge, creating custom rokkits and tank-hammers to make a squad that was truly one-of-a-kind.
This, and other conversions are more described here.

An Orktober Heist: Looted Imperial Knights
“What if an Ork Mekboy got his hands on an Imperial Knight?” This project answered that question in the most spectacular way possible. We took several Knight kits and “Orkified” them for a client, adding scrap metal, looted guns, and crude repairs to create a force of mechanical monstrosities that only an Ork could love.
More of ’em here!

Ready for Your Own WAAAGH!?
The common thread in all these projects is a client with a cool idea and the passion to see it realized. From a single, display-level character to a fully converted army of looted war machines, we love helping you build the Ork army of your dreams.
Our experience with Ork commissions means we’re ready for any challenge, whether it’s a complex conversion or a clean, crisp paint job.
Got a grand plan for your own WAAAGH!? Send us your idea. Let’s make this Orktober one to remember.
