“What If” – Forging Your Wildest Warhammer Conversions
A standard box of miniatures is just a starting point. It’s a blank canvas. The real magic, the element that sets your army apart from hundreds of others, begins with the question: “What if?” That question leads to conversions—the very heart of hobby creativity. It’s where the unique story of your army is told.
In our studio, we live for those stories. In today’s post, we want to showcase a few recent projects where standard models were transformed into something entirely new and personal.

Beyond the Assembly Guide: A Showcase of Custom Warhammer Conversions
Each of the following projects started with a client’s vision that went far beyond the assembly guide. Our job was to turn those ideas into tangible, game-ready works of art.
A Waaagh! of Ingenuity: Ork Tankbustas
The essence of being an Ork is pure, chaotic creativity. These Tankbustas, converted from the Wrecka Krew Kill Team, are a perfect example. They are armed with whatever their Mekboy could “acquire” from the battlefield: a magma cutter from a Maulerfiend, a thermal spear from an Imperial Knight, and even a hammer made of three rockets strapped to a stick.
It is awesome as an idea, and it was great to make as well!

The Spider-Fangs of Fenris: A New Breed of Wolves
What happens when a Space Marine Chapter rejects its heritage for a new, terrifying identity?
This homebrew project imagines a successor of the Space Wolves who ride giant, venomous spiders instead of Fenrisian wolves. We replaced the wolves with arachnids, and swapped the traditional grey for an unsettling green-and-purple color scheme.
This is an army for a player who wants their opponent to feel uneasy before the first die is even rolled.

Bushido in the Glade: Samurai Sylvaneth
This project was born from the question: what if the Sylvaneth walked the path of Bushido?
We transformed Kurnoth Hunters into stoic samurai and Spiteriders into mythical temple guardians. This clash of two distinct aesthetics created an army that is both familiar and utterly unique: proof that the best ideas come from bold connections.

The Hive Mind’s Holiday: Tyranids on the Beach
Even Tyranids need a break from consuming biomass.
This project juxtaposes the cosmic horror of custom Hive Fleet with… a tropical beach. We created custom bases with sand and water effects that reframe these bio-horrors as unwelcome beach party crashers. The contrast between the purple chitin and the paradise setting creates an unforgettable visual, perfect for a collector with a sense of humor.
And miniatures are custom made for the client vision as well.
Poor Guardsmen…

Two Faces of Ruin: Chaos Wardogs
The Chaos Gods have many faces, as these two projects prove.
The first Wardog, dedicated to Nurgle, is a walking garden of decay, its rusted hull becoming fertile soil for toxic growths. The second, sworn to Slaanesh, is an embodiment of dark perfection, where the model and its demonic base create a single, cohesive composition.
It shows how the same model can tell two wildly different stories.

The Eternal Crusader Reborn: A Wolf Lord Helbrecht
What do you do when you love a hero model from another faction? You convert it.
For this project, we took the iconic Black Templars character, High Marshal Helbrecht, and transformed him into a Wolf Lord. We removed the Templar symbols, added wolf pelts, runes, and fangs, and reworked his sword to fit the frost-bound aesthetic of Fenris.
It’s the ultimate proof that in this hobby, the only limit is your imagination.

The Red Angel in Chains: A New Vision of Angron
Sometimes the most powerful pose isn’t about dominance, but about what a character has become.
This conversion of Angron rejects the standard triumphant pose. Instead, his axes are driven into fallen loyalists, and he is chained to them. This is not the pose of a victor; it’s a ritualistic tableau, an image of a Primarch who has become a prisoner of his own rage.

Your Vision, Our Brushes
Each of these Warhammer conversion projects began with a spark, an idea that went beyond the standard. Perhaps you have a spark of your own. “What if my Space Marines rode spiders” or “How to convert Ghazghkull to Tzeentch knowledge master”?
You have the vision, but you may lack the time or the specific skills make it real. That is our role. We are here to translate your boldest concepts into professionally executed models that will be the centerpiece of your collection and a terror on the tabletop.
Bring us your canvas. We’ll handle the brushwork.
