Professional Studio Craftsmanship and Process

Every model starts at the assembly bench. We clean off mould lines and build the squad before anything touches a brush. Then we prime the models and airbrush the base red coat across the whole unit. That way the squad shares one even tone from the ground up.

From there our painters work through recess shading and edge highlighting by hand, model by model. A single Gravis armored Space Marine like this takes 4 to 5 hours of focused brushwork, so a three man squad like this one represents a real chunk of bench time. The armor plates and weapon casings read clearly at tabletop distance once they’re done.
