Into the Hivestorm: Kill Teams from a Deadly Box
The Kill Team: Hivestorm box is a great way to start your own KT adventure: it contains 2 teams, terrains, and all books, tokens and rules related stuff. It’s a classic Imperial Guard versus Vespids scenario.
We’ve tackled this set a few times, each with its own flavor.
Hivestorm Boxart Commission: Painted Just Like the Picture!
Alright, so first up, we did a Kill Team: Hivestorm set painted pretty much straight by the box art.
You know the drill – Tempestus Scions looking great and ready to purge, facing off against those freaky Vespids. And we didn’t just do the minis; this commission was the whole shebang. We painted up all the awesome Hivestorm terrain, the barricades, all of it.

Then, for something totally different, we painted a Kill Team: Hivestorm set with a full-on winter wasteland theme.
Think Scions in a grittier, frosted-up scheme and Vespids with icy highlights on their wings and carapaces, like they’ve adapted to fight on some frozen death world.
