Forging the Red Angel: Four Unique Takes on Angron
The Primarch of the World Eaters is a massive, brutal centerpiece for any Chaos army. When you put a model this huge on the table, it demands attention. We love working with clients who want to push the boundaries of this incredible kit and try out wild, completely custom ideas.
Today, we are sharing four Angron commission painting projects where we explored new concepts for the Lord of the Red Sands.

Visions of Khorne: Our Recent Angron Projects
The Captive of Rage: Angron Chained
The client wanted a heavy, symbolic take on the Primarch rather than the standard combat pose. Pinning him to the base like this gives the whole piece an incredible visual weight—he looks like a prisoner to his own endless rage, making him a fantastic thematic centerpiece.

Echoes of Nuceria: Pre-Heresy Colors
Putting the daemon model in the original pre-Heresy colors messes with your head in the best way. It creates a jarring contrast between the honorable gladiator he once was and the monster he became for Khorne. It is a fantastic nod to the lore for any Horus Heresy fans.

Fire and Ice: A Cold Blue and Bloody Red Duocolor
A harsh, two-tone approach makes a giant model stand out immediately on the tabletop. The client asked for a strict duocolor scheme, matching the heat of bloody red against a freezing, cold blue. The severe temperature contrast gives the whole miniature a heavy metal album cover atmosphere.

The Iron Butcher: Metallic Blue Armor
Going with an industrial, brutalist armor style completely changes the feel of this kit. Instead of a fleshy daemon, he feels like a walking, unstoppable siege engine grinding across the battlefield. It is a heavy, dark look that perfectly suits the grimdark setting.
