Orkz Got Da Imperial Knights – How We Made Dem Big Metal Boyz Work Fer Us!

Oi there, ya gitz! We’z got sumfink MASSIVE ta tell ya about! Remember all dem fancy Imperial Knights wot da humies use? Dem big stompy metal fingz wif all da shiny bitz an’ choppy gubbinz? Well, guess wot? WE’Z GOT ‘EM NOW!

See, we woz stompin’ around sum old battlefields, right? Lookin’ fer gud scrap an’ maybe sum teef ta loot. An’ dere dey woz – whole bunches of busted Imperial Knights just lyin’ around, all sad an’ broken like grots wifout sticks. But we’z Orkz! We don’t see broken – we see OPPORTUNITY!

Different Flavors of Imperial Knights Stompy Death

Da whole fing started when our Big Mek Skarjaw woz diggin’ around sum massive crater. ‘E woz lookin’ fer sum nice shiny bitz when ‘e nearly got squished by sumfink HUGE! Turned out ta be a whole Imperial Knight Crusader just sittin’ dere, all busted up but still lookin’ proppa impressive.

“Oi boyz!” ‘e yellz, wavin’ ‘iz biggest wrench, “Look wot I found! Dese boyz ‘re proppa big an’ got loads of dakka potential!”

We looked at dese busted Imperial Knights an’ said “Dese iz gonna work fer us now!” – an’ well, dey just DID! All dat fancy tech wot da humies need centuries of trainin’ ta understand? We just KNOW it works ‘cos we want it ta work. Simple Ork logic!

We managed ta get all sorts of different Knights workin’ fer da WAAAGH! Each one got its own special job:

Imperial Knights: Crusader – Da Dakka Masters

Dese big boyz came loaded wif more guns dan a Mek’s workshop! We kept most of da original shootas but added sum of our own fer good measure. More dakka iz ALWAYS betta dakka! We slapped on sum big shootas, rokkit launchas, an’ maybe a skorcha or two. Now dey can krump fings from proppa far away!

Imperial Knights: Errant – Da Balanced Krumpas

Found dese Errant wif a gud mix of shootin’ an’ choppin’ gear. Perfect fer when ya need ta do a bit of everyfink! We gave ’em sum extra armor platin’ (painted black fer toughness, obviously) an’ added more spiky bitz fer intimidation.

We’z found dis with some blue armour armpads, which big blue humies wear, and we said “krump’em, dis is our boy now”!

Imperial Knights: Gallant – Da Close Combat Specialists

Dese ones woz built fer gettin’ up close an’ personal! Came wif massive chainswords dat woz already pretty orky, so we just made ’em MORE orky by addin’ more teeth, more noise, an’ definitely more CHOP! Perfect fer when ya need ta open sum tin cans – humie tin cans!

Scraps Knight – Da Frankenstein Specials

Now dese ones iz special – we built ’em from all da leftover bitz! Arm from one, leg from anuvver, head from a third with some improvements… ya get da idea. And wez throw a bunch of stuff and weapons on his back, to krump just fine.

Heavy Gun Knight – Our Own Creation

After messin’ about wif captured Imperial Knights fer a while, we got cocky an’ decided ta build our own from scratch! Used all da gud bitz we learned about, but made ’em PROPPA orky from da start. More guns, more armor, more spikes, more EVERYFINK! Dese ones got enough dakka ta level a hive city!

Imperial Knights: Cerestus Lancer – Da Fast Poker

Found dese weird pointy Imperial Knights wif massive lance fings. Perfect fer chargin’ at da enemy an’ pokin’ ’em full of ‘oles! We painted ’em red (fer speed) an’ yellow (fer bigger explosions when dey hit). Now dey goez even fasta an’ hits even ‘arder!

Imperial Knights: Armigers – Da Little Krumpaz

Dese smaller Imperial Knights woz perfect fer our smaller boyz ta pilot! Sum we kept mostly da same (just added more dakka), uvvers we completely rebuilt from scratch. Now we got fast little stompas dat can keep up wif da big boyz an’ cause trouble everywhere!

An’ ya know wot? Dey DO work! Our Imperial Knights ‘ave been stompin’ across battlefields, krumpin’ enemies left an’ right. Every time sum humie tech-priest sees one of our converted Knights, dey start cryin’ about “impossible modifications” an’ “violation of sacred patterns.”

But we’z still ‘ere, still stompin’, still winnin’! Dat’z all da proof we need dat Ork ingenuity can make anyfink work – even fancy Imperial Knights!

How Minis For War ‘Elped Us Get Proppa Ready

Now, ya might be wonderin’ ‘ow we got all dese Imperial Knights lookin’ so proppa an’ orky. Well, we ‘ad sum ‘elp from dose clever ‘umies at Minis For War! Dey do REAL conversion work, just like proper mekboyz!

Dey even understood da importance of color! Red fer speed, yellow fer bigger booms, black fer toughness – dey got it all right! An’ when we told ’em about our Scraps Knight made from all different bitz, dey knew exactly ‘ow ta make it look like proper Ork engineering instead of just a mess.
