We worked closely with the client to ground these new Marauder and Horsemen sculpts into a brutal winter theme. Every unit looks like it just marched out of a blinding blizzard, wrapped in heavy furs and carrying frosted steel weapons. To push the frozen look even further, we set the entire warband on custom bases designed to look like a cracked, icy lake bed. It turns a group of individual models into a highly focused raiding force that completely changes the look of the tabletop.
Looking at beautifully painted miniatures just makes gaming so much better, turning a regular weekend match into an actual cinematic event. But getting a massive horde of infantry and cavalry to a uniform standard takes a serious amount of hobby time. It is the exact kind of grind that keeps great new boxes sitting in grey plastic on the shelf for months.
