The new Archon Studio starter box drops Jim Raynor and his Marines straight into a fight with Kerrigan and the Zerg. It brings the classic PC game to the tabletop with 32mm sculpts, giving you a full Terran gunline, a horde of Zerglings, and an Omega Worm to drop on the board.
But a two-player box means two full armies to prep before you can even play your first match. You want to learn the rules and get rolling, but staring at a pile of unpainted plastic right after opening the box is a fast way to kill your motivation. Building and painting that many models takes up a lot of your free time.
