Kill Team: Typhon captures a primal, claustrophobic conflict: the cold, calculated logic of the Adeptus Mechanicus against the ravenous, organic horror of the Tyranid Hive Mind. It’s a classic battle of manufactured steel versus predatory instinct, fought in the forgotten depths of a tainted world.
On one side, the Adeptus Mechanicus Battleclade. Led by a Technoarcheologist, these agents of the Machine God are not mere soldiers; they are reclaimers of lost data, sanctifying corrupted ground with every precise shot. Their Servitors are unfeeling instruments, extensions of the Omnissiah's will, programmed to purge the alien and secure vital techno-relics at any cost.
Hunting them from the shadows are the Tyranid Raveners. These creatures are apex predators, a terrifying vanguard of the Hive Mind. They are bio-horrors of chitin and claw, moving with blinding speed through tunnels and ruins, embodying the raw, evolving hunger of their race. Their purpose is simple: to devour, to adapt, and to leave nothing but barren rock behind.
This set was a fantastic opportunity to contrast two opposing aesthetics: the weathered metals of the AdMech against the alien textures of the Tyranids.
