The Emperor's Children prove that the pursuit of perfection can become its own form of damnation. For this commission, our goal was not to reinterpret, but to perfectly capture the iconic, box-art aesthetic of the Third Legion—balancing their noble origins with their dark, decadent present.
This army is a perfect orchestra of Slaanesh. It is led by arrogant masters of combat like Lucius the Eternal and the Lord Exultant. The choir is formed by the Noise Marines under the baton of a Lord Kakophonist, turning music into murder. The roles of deadly dancers are filled by the Flawless Blades and Tormentors, for whom battle is a performance. To show the final stage of Slaanesh's "gifts," the client provided us with twisted Chaos Spawn from Bestiarum Miniatures, completing the picture of corrupted perfection.
The result is a cohesive force, painted in the classic purple and gold, ready to bring a symphony of destruction to the tabletop.
