The "lifelong contract" usually involves floating in a jar of green goo forever, fused to the machine you pilot. Since there is no official model range for this faction yet, our client turned to 3D printing to build this force from the ground up.
To capture the true horror of the lore, we focused our attention on the bio-tanks mounted on the walkers. That isn't a 3D detail inside the glass. We used advanced freehand techniques to paint the silhouette of the "pilot" directly on the flat surface, creating the illusion of a corpse suspended in amniotic fluid.
