This Deathwatch project was a blast to put together. The client wanted maximum tactical flexibility, so we fully magnetized the chapter shoulder pads for the infantry. This means the strike force can instantly swap its roster to represent heroes from the Space Wolves, Blood Angels, or Ultramarines depending on the specific mission.
Uniting proud veterans from completely different backgrounds under the silver and black creates a heavy, intimidating presence on the table. But getting all that custom wargear sorted out, drilling tiny magnets, and painting an entire roster is a massive grind. It is the kind of project that can easily stall out on the workbench before you even get to play your first game. Your game time is precious.
