The deep black and blue scheme creates something unexpected - these Custodes look like they've stepped out of the darkest corners of the Imperial Palace, where even the Emperor's light doesn't reach. The blue accents catch the eye like lightning in a storm, while the black armor speaks of duty that goes beyond ceremony.
Every Custodian is a work of art in both flesh and gene-craft, and this army reflects that.
