[NEWS] HUGE & HOT Star Wars: Legion Reveals from Ministravaganza 2024
It is not a lie that Atomic Mass Games surprises everyone in the world with the latest Star Wars: Legion reveals. We will have not only new miniatures, but also we have a brand new edition of the game! Let’s see what’s coming up!
Cards Overall Look
The first of all and the most noticeable difference is how the cards look. New Card Anatomy gives us not only a fresh look! You don’t need to count the dice amount by yourself any more, but that’s not all…
Massive Errata of Existing Cards
Many cards get errata, changing available keywords, amount of dice in attack or even totally erases existing cards (bye, bye, P1 and P2 Clone Troopers). All of these cards are available as print-to-play and you can check all of them over here.
Rules Changes and More
Not only cards will be changed. The game also will get a refreshed ruleset, making the existing keywords to work different or even adding additional mechanics and changing how deployment works.
First of all, the size of each list is now increased from 800 points to 1000 points which is a huge difference. Now you can include more units in one list, but that’s not all. We got cards that can make your units 2 times bigger! For example, a simple B1 Battle Droids unit now can have up to 14 miniatures. Now battles will be even more intense!
Next on our list are keywords. Some of them were completely changed (like Fire Support, Transport and most of the Mastery keywords), while others have a “cosmetic” change, like Override.
Last of all is the new mechanic – Backup. The Commanders and Operatives are now slightly more resilient if they have a corps unit somewhere in range 1/2 as they will immediately cancel up to 2 hit results when defending against ranged attack from beyond range 2!

Setup, Preparing a Game and Scoring
Even such essentials as setup were completely reworked. We have brand new cards, including objectives, secondary objectives and conditions, but also the deployment was reworked. Now only units with Prepared Position keyword are deployed at the Setup, while others need to wait undeployed until their activation.
As mentioned before, now there are two objective cards in play. Main objective comes with the map that indicates deployment zones and objective placing, while the secondary objective gives you additional options to score some points during the game.
The game lasts until the end of the 5th round or after any player has 12 or more victory points at the end of the round.
In between you may look at some new premieres announced (more below). We will finally get the resculpting of some old miniatures into a hard plastic and the details are stunning! We can’t wait to paint those resculpts! Also there are many fascinating games ahead of us!
