Collectible Ork Warlord Bust

What a huge piece of nostalgia! This Ork Bust was one of the first ever released Forge World “miniatures”. It’s 4.25 inches (110mm) tall, single part model. Available till late 2003, now 21 years old, it is highly demanded by collectors around the World. Happily we had a chance to paint it for one of you, lucky collectors!

This kind of model is always a great challenge for a painter – due to its size, it requires smooth blends and a lot of classic brushwork.

Dwarf Spellcaster

This one here was made out of Grimnyr miniature from the Leagues of Votann army from Warhammer 40k. Altering the color scheme opens up an option to not only play him as the spellcaster of the Space Dwarves, but also as a mysterious mage in fantasy tabletops and RPGs.

We like color experiments like this as it makes a one-of-a-kind project that lets us show our creativity in what we do.

Can you see how the winds of Shyish, the Lore of Death, overflow around his hand, forming a powerful spell? It’s an effect of using the OSL (Object Source Lighting) technique!

Hurakan, Spirit of the Wind

While the previous miniatures was using the Winds of Shyish, The Lore of Death, to destroy his opponents, this one is quite the opposite. Spirits of the Wind are embodiments of the Hysh, The Lore of Light, a magical force of illumination and holy radiance.

The natural state of Spirits of the Wind is invisible and ephemeral, and they are given coherent form by sacred masks kept in Hurakan temples. When Spirits of the Wind take physical form, they echo that of the lithe Horned Foxes, semi-mythical vulpine beasts of the Realm of Hysh.

Trugg, The Troggoth King

Last miniature on our showcase is a Troggoth boss, but he has a little headache right now. All of this because of the altar on his back – it’s an Arcane Keystone that pulses with ancient magic. It not only enrages Trugg to the limit, but also empowers him with the bursts of magic.

Can you see this little guy on the top of him? He literally does anything to try and calm the boss, but nothing works…
