Here we go with a Board Game called “Black Rose Wars”.
Black Rose Wars is a competitive fantasy game of deck-building, strategy, and combat set in the hectic universe of Nova Aetas in Italy. In order to obtain the formidable power of the Black Rose Artifact and the Forgotten Magic, each player is one of the strong mages of the Black Rose Order who strives to become the new Supreme Magister. Mages must fight, fulfill Black Rose desires, and gain strength with their spells until their power reaches the containment threshold of the prison where they are exiled, finally freeing themselves.
Six schools of magic are available to each mage, and each one offers a unique approach for destroying rivals and boosting one’s might.
Mages begin the battle with a grimoire of six cards; when they learn new spells while the game is being played, their grimoire is growing. In Black Rose Wars, each spell has two distinct effects, enhancing a player’s versatility in combat. In hexagonal, modular arenas known as “rooms,” mages battle one another. They use their enchantments to perform damaging spells, summon powerful creatures or create sinister ruses.
There are various phases to the game system. Players take turns selecting new spells from the six schools of magic and planning their moves beforehand by setting cards face down. Later, they reveal the played cards to kill each other, solve missions, summon creatures or destroy the prison rooms, fighting not only against other mages but also against the Black Rose (the playing system). Mages are instantly respawned after death, allowing them to rejoin the battle right away, while their death still provides energy to the other mages who caused it.
The Black Rose itself will proclaim the wizard with the greatest power the Supreme Magister of the Order at the conclusion of the conflict.
