This is our second post about new releases revealed during Adepticon 2023! In this one we will cover Star Wars: Legion upcoming products. The Bad Batch is a group of clone troopers in the Star Wars universe who were genetically modified to possess unique and enhanced skills. The team is composed of Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, Wrecker, and Echo, and they first appeared in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The Bad Batch’s genetic enhancements give them specialized abilities that set them apart from other clone troopers. Hunter has enhanced senses, Tech is a brilliant hacker and strategist, Crosshair is a sharpshooter with exceptional aim, Wrecker has incredible strength, and Echo has cybernetic enhancements that make him a skilled hacker and communications expert.
In the series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the team finds themselves in a rapidly changing galaxy as the Clone Wars come to an end and the Galactic Empire takes control. The Bad Batch must navigate this new reality and find their place in a world that no longer needs clone troopers when also taking care of Omega.
The Geonosians are an insectoid species in the Star Wars universe who are native to the planet Geonosis. They first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
Geonosians are known for their advanced technology and their ability to construct intricate structures and machines. They are also skilled warriors, and their battle droids played a significant role in the Clone Wars.
One of the most notable aspects of the Geonosians is their ability to communicate with each other through a unique form of clicking and buzzing sounds. They also possess a hive mind mentality, which means that they work together as a cohesive unit and are fiercely loyal to their queen.
In the Star Wars canon, the Geonosians were instrumental in the creation of the Death Star, as they were the ones who designed and built the superweapon’s primary weapon system. They were also involved in the development of other advanced technologies, such as the battle droids used by the Trade Federation.
The Galactic Empire Inquisition, also known as the Imperial Inquisition, was a secret division of the Galactic Empire that was tasked with hunting down and eliminating any remaining Jedi who survived the Great Jedi Purge.
Led by the Grand Inquisitor, the Inquisition was composed of Force-sensitive agents who were trained in the ways of the dark side of the Force. These agents were known as Inquisitors, and they were tasked with tracking down and killing any Jedi who had managed to evade the Empire’s initial purge.
The Inquisition was particularly brutal in its tactics, often using fear and intimidation to get what they wanted. They would use any means necessary to track down their targets, including torture and the use of dark side magic.
The Galactic Empire Inquisition played a significant role in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, as the main characters were a group of rebels who were fighting against the Empire and often found themselves on the run from Inquisitors.
