StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game

The biggest reveal at Adepticon 2025 came from Archon Studio, dropping news that has the wargaming community buzzing - StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game!

Archon officially partnered with Blizzard Entertainment to bring the iconic StarCraft universe to tabletop gaming – something many of us have dreamed about for years.

As a longtime fan, it’s exciting to see this classic RTS make the leap into physical models. The miniatures game, slated for 2026, promises to stay faithful to the intense, strategic gameplay we all know, letting us command Terran, Zerg, and Protoss armies in detailed tactical battles.

With high-quality miniatures and deep faction customization, Archon seems committed to delivering an authentic StarCraft experience that both tabletop and veteran RTS fans will appreciate.

And with additional board games coming in 2027, it looks like the Koprulu Sector might become our next big tabletop battleground.

Adepticon 2025 Warhammer Reveals

We are super hyped for Adepticon 2025 Warhammer Reveals. Some said there won’t be much of these, or these will be kinda boring, but reveal stream on Twitch was a blast!

Let’s see the most interesting reveals for Warhammer settings.

Warhammer 40k Adepticon 2025 reveals

Space Wolves new models, codex and starter set

Lemann Russ sons will howl again, as the new lineup of models alongside with codex has been presented last on the reveal stream.

All of these units will be in the starter set alongside with the codex and data sheets:

  • Blood Cawls – Space Wolves initiates are close combat units with fangs

  • Grey Hunters – more advanced Space Wolves, with more discipline

  • Wolf Guard Headtakers – Space Marines with wolves (how cool is that)

  • Wolf Guard Battle Leader and Wolf Priest – Vikings meet Space Marines vibed characters

These look really cool, and knowing earlier codexes from starter set released this year (Krieg, Emperors Children), Space Wolves will be shiny, with lots of beautiful graphics and well written lore inside.

Grey Knights new models and updated codex

Basically, next to the Crusade: Armageddon announcement there was a short notice about Grey Knights updated codex, and there was single model shown.

And as Games Workshop doesn’t show something to leave it in the corner later, we will probably see some more models later.

Updated Nemesis Dreadknight

Chaos Space Marines reveals

We sometimes thought about the fact, that with latest Emperors Children release, the rest of the Chaos Space Marines looks a bit blank.

Seems that we kinda found the GW plans telepathically, because World Eaters, Death Guard and Thousand Sons are receiving special edition codexes with updates and some fancy collectibles.

World Eaters and Thousand Sons received a new miniature as well. Death Guard is making sad noises in the corner.

Kill Team Adepticon 2025 reveals

Kill Team: Typhon

This one was precisely predicted after the announcement of Adepticon streams. Shown terrain aimed directly to the Tyranids. And where Tyranids should be, but they aren’t?

In Kill Team.

New set called “Kill Team: Typhon” will include Tyranid and Adeptus Mechanicus teams, with Tyranid terrains and a dossier with rules and unique missions for this set.

GW didn’t take short route here: all units presented are unique in every way, both for Nids and Mechanicus teams.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Adepticon 2025 reveals

Spearhead: Sand and Bone Gaming Pack

This set is a great next step, after getting hands on some Spearhead sets.

The Sand and Bone includes rulebook with rules for this exact pack and for four new armies as well. It comes with terrains and playing mat as well, so you can start playing for your own with your friends which hasn’t touched Spearhead yet.

And everything in a new realm called “the Shiysh”

New Spearhead sets

With Sand and Bones Game Pack comes 4 new Spearhead sets:

  • Cities of Sigmar Fusil-Platoon

  • Seraphon Sunblood Prowlers

  • Ossiarch Bonereapers Mortisan Elite

  • Ogor Mawtribes Scrapglutt

These are great addition to Game Pack, and the best route here is to grab it with 2 of those armies, to have ready to play tabletop for two.

Warhammer Old World Adepticon 2025 reveals

Warhammer Old World fans were probably most blessed during Adepticon 2025. Lets take a closer look!

The Empire of Grand Cathay

Starting with a banger: new army called “The Empire of Grand Cathay” comes to Old World to help fight with the darkness.

Why it’s big? It’s the first completely new faction released for Warhammer: The Old World. Everything before was based on Warhammer Fantasy Battle settings, and it needed pretty much a breath of freshness in the setting.

So, what we can find in the new army for Warhammer Old World?

Grand Cathay Battalion

Like every other faction in the Old World, Grand Cathay will receive a battalion box with 50 plastic minis.

It will include:

  • Jade Warriors – core of the armies of Cathay, equipped with hand weapons, shields and halberds

  • Jade Lancers – heavy cavalry from Cathay

  • Cathayan Grand Cannon – dragon look-a-like cannon

  • Fire Rain Rocket Battery – less accurate, but with more rounds compared to Grand Cannon

But that’s not all of course. There are more models for future expansions.

Standalone models of The Empire of Grand Cathay

Next to the battalion, Games Workhop revealed on Adepticon more standalone models: from heroes, to more specialized units.

  • Shugengan Lord on Great Spirit Longma – beautifful leader, breathtaking dragon. The most detailed model from all reveals.

  • Gate Masters of the Celestial Cities – commander of the Jade Warriors

  • Sky Lantern – huge flying lantern with gondola

  • Cathayan Sentinel – huge monuments, which can be animated to fight

  • Miao Ying, the Storm Dragon – the eldest living daughter of the Dragon Emperor

Additionally the Empire of Grand Cathay will receive Arcane Journal with lore, rules and graphics.

The Wood Elf Realms and Beastman Brayherds

That’s not the end for Old World Adepticon 2025 reveals.

The Wood Elf Realms, and Beastman Brayherds received their own battalions and Arcane Journals, with some miniatures returning from earlier absence (in plastic, resin and metal as well).

Mantic Games - HALO Reveals

Another highlight from Adoption 2025 is Mantic Games’ “Rise of the Banished” expansion for Halo: Flashpoint.

Inspired by the legendary Atriox, whose defiance sparked a rebellion against the Covenant, this release lets players experience the ruthless power of the Banished firsthand. The box is impressively comprehensive: it includes a striking limited-edition Atriox miniature for pre-orders, eight PVC Jiralhanae warriors, four Sangheili mercenaries, and a wealth of game-enhancing materials. If you’re looking to bring fresh intensity to your Flashpoint clashes, the Banished expansion is exactly the reinforcement you’ve been waiting for.

Warlord Games - Konflikt '47 reveal

Warlord Games has just announced a brand-new edition of Konflikt ’47, the alternate-history wargame where World War II didn’t end in 1945… but escalated into a dark, dieselpunk showdown with mechs, mutants, and Rift-powered technology.

The goal of the new edition is to refresh the existing setting, keep all current factions, and expand the game with new ones. There will also be new units, updated models, and improved mechanics to make battles more dynamic and engaging.

Refreshed system will be based on principles from 3rd edition of Bolt Action, so we know the ruleset will be solid.

The creators of Konflikt ’47 hasn’t showed any miniatures yet, but they promise there will be plenty.
