40k – Grey Knights Army

Grey Knights: Daemon Hunters of the Imperium

There’s something about Grey Knights that sets them apart from every other force in the Warhammer 40K universe.

They don’t just fight for the Imperium; they exist to eradicate its greatest threat: chaos daemons. These warriors, blessed by the Emperor himself, are psykers wrapped in silver armor, wielding weapons infused with psychic might. They aren’t just another Chapter of Space Marines. They are humanity’s last line of defense against the horrors of the Warp.

And we had the honor of painting this full Grey Knights army, prepared to purge the unclean.

Let’s take a closer look at these warriors.

Grey Knights Army in Full Force

The first thing that strikes you when looking at this force is its sheer presence.

Rows of Grey Knights Terminators and Strike Marines stand in disciplined formation, their weapons crackling with barely contained energy. Among them, you can see their commanders, which will be shown later in close ups.

Behind them: Dreadknights, titanic warriors encased in walking battle suits, bringing raw strength to the battlefield. And then there’s the Imperial Knight, called Canis Rex: a war machine dedicated to the cause.

Alongside lore accurate painting, the first thing that catches the eye are the custom bases – handcrafted from scratch to complement the army’s overall aesthetic. The idea was like, where they stand, electrical impulse flows on the ground. Neat.

The Commanders – Masters of the Warp

A Grey Knights army isn’t complete without its leaders, and this force has some of the best.

One standout model is the legendary Castellan Crowe, his cursed blade wreathed in unnatural purple energy. His pose, standing over the remains of a fallen foe, reinforces the relentless, grim nature of the Grey Knights. Crowe is the eternal guardian of the Blade of Antwyr, a daemon-infested weapon that constantly whispers temptation to its wielder. Yet, through sheer force of will, he resists its corrupting influence, embodying the Grey Knights’ unshakable purity.

Second is Lord Kaldor Draigo, Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights. A warrior who has carved his name into the annals of Imperial history, Draigo is a living myth, fighting an endless war deep within the Warp itself. After slaying a Daemon Primarch, he was cursed to wander the Immaterium, yet he continues his fight against Chaos, reforging weapons from the souls of slain daemons and carving his victories into the very substance of the Warp. When he manifests in realspace, he is an unstoppable force, wielding the Storm Shield of Titan as symbols of his unrelenting crusade.

Paladins & Dreadknights – The Unbreakable Wall

Grey Knight Paladins are among the most elite warriors in the Imperium. Heavily armored, they move through battle like unstoppable juggernauts, cutting through heretics and daemons alike. Their psychic halberds reinforce their supernatural prowess, making them a nightmare for any servant of Chaos.

A particularly striking element of this project is the heraldic banner carried by one of the Paladins. It shows a detailed scene of battle, with a Grey Knight standing victorious over a slain daemon.

Towering above them, the mighty Dreadknights stand as walking behemoths of war. Piloted by the best of the Grey Knights, these massive war machines turn their pilots into unstoppable extensions of the Emperor’s will.

Canis Rex – A Titan Among Heroes

And then, there’s the Imperial Preceptor: Canis Rex. A true behemoth, standing above even the towering Dreadknights. This model is a mix of elegance and brute force, with its massive Las-Impulsor creating a caster of a blue energy.
