Hello!

It`s a time to add something on blog after long absence 🙂 Today you may see review of futuristic scenery made by polish manufacture Zen Terrain. Here you can find first impressions, overall look and a lot of photos with unassembled sets. In second part of article (online in the middle of week) – photos of assembled scenery and my commentry to each set.

I – First impressions

Zen Terrain – small wargaming manufacture from Poland. I found them somewhere in web during my research. I tried to find something new and fresh to create unique wargaming scenery for battles in hive, cyberpunk cities. Their website is simple and responsive – order process is fast and painless.

For international customers PayPal is available. In my opinion its a good move because you don`t need credit card to make payment.

Another big advantage – fast contact. Zen Terrains is small company and you can talk directly with owner via FB or mail, discuss details of your order and probably custom orders are available too.

II – Delivery

All products are “on demand” so usually you have to wait a few days for dispatch. I received package pretty fast but remember – I`m living in the same country. International shipping may be a bit longer.

In plain cardboard boxes I found everything I wanted. Each set has own zipbag and instruction printed on A4 paper.

III – Quality

After my experiences with Micro Art Terrains (in my opinion MA has not the best quality…) I expected something similar. And…. Surprise! Quality of Zen Terrain scenery is AWESOME. Really I did not believe that HDF scenery may be so cool 😉

All parts are produced out of 3mm HDF and sometimes 2mm cardboard. Material is hard, tough and solid. Everything is ready for assembling – absolutely no sprues (YES!!!).

In some sets you may find plexi parts (banners / holoscreens / force fields imitations)

Price – another blast! It is hard to find something better (quality/design) for so low. Set of cargo boxes for less than 7 Euro? Three medium-size buildings for less than 25 Euro? It is easy to create a nice wargaming table in decent budget.

It`s a time for the most important part of this review – pictures! I ordered twelve different sets so below you may find A LOT of pictures. Enjoy!
